alt Come on in, pour yourself a cup, grab a notepad, and take a leisurely tour of my family history research.

My research centers around my home town of Clay City, Illinois and includes many other families from there and surrounding communities.

On this site, I am also attempting to follow my German, Irish, and Swiss ancestors as they migrated through Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Many people have helped me in this endeavor and I can't thank them enough for their invaluable assistance in sharing their research, images, and stories. Some of them also have web-sites, and I've provided links to them where possible.

Some of the information on this site relates to living individuals and is not available to the general public. Some features may require separate registration for higher access.

I hope that the information here will help others discover their ancestral roots and rediscover their living relatives.

I am a member of: Clay County Illinois Genealogical Society (Louisville, Illinois) and Richland County Illinois Genealogical and Historical Society (Olney, Illinois)

If we are researching the same families, please let me know. I welcome your input and participation.
